Planting Information

Milo performs best when planted in warm soil conditions during spring and early summer.

• Best planted after all risk of frost has passed
• Ideal soil temperatures reach 60–65°F before planting
• Late April to late June planting window recommended in many regions

Planting Tips

• Perform a soil test before planting for optimal results
• If no soil test is performed, apply 13-13-13 fertilizer at approximately 200 lbs per acre
• Ensure seed has direct contact with the soil
• Plant at 1/2 inch depth or less
